Should I get a single F.R.E.D. or a double F.R.E.D.?
If you are an avid scrapbooker, you will probably enjoy the double F.R.E.D. most. It allows you to work on two facing pages together, and can easily travel to crops and classes with you since it folds shut like a briefcase.
If you are new to scrapbooking or don’t do it that often, you might want to start with the single F.R.E.D. It costs a bit less and can always be hooked up to additional F.R.E.D.s in the future should you find yourself wanting more. Although it doesn’t fold shut like the double, the single F.R.E.D. is still very portable and easy to use.
How do I get more mats and magnets?
Each single F.R.E.D. comes with 1 mat (Matt) and a package of 8 magnets (Maggie) (double F.R.E.D. comes with 2 mats and 16 magnets). Some of F.R.E.D.’s fans find themselves wanting more mats because it allows them to design many pages at a time. And even though F.R.E.D.’s super-strong magnets can hold up multiple pictures and embellishments, you may find you want more or you’ve lost a few along the way.
