What is F.R.E.D.?

Designed by scrapbookers for scrapbookers, F.R.E.D. is a portable desktop table that uses magnets (“Maggies”) and removable steel mats (“Matts”) to make scrapbooking more comfortable and easier than ever before.

How can F.R.E.D. help me with my scrapbooking?

Since F.R.E.D. faces you at an angle, you can design layouts without having to bend over your pages or stand up to get a better view.  The angle also lets you push F.R.E.D. back to create more workspace in front of you, while still having a great view of your layout as it grows.  F.R.E.D.’s strong magnets hold all your design elements (from photos to even the thickest embellishments) in place until you’re ready to glue.  You can take F.R.E.D. to crops with you to maximize your allotted workspace. If you have more than one mat, you can design multiple pages at once, rearranging your layouts as much as you like without a lot of hassle.

Where can I buy F.R.E.D.?  Is he available in stores?

F.R.E.D. is not available in stores because we craft each F.R.E.D. ourselves at Aptus Designs.  Distributing F.R.E.D. through retail channels increases the cost to our customers and may compromise that hand-made quality, so we decided to sell him solely through our website.
